Our family gap year unexpectantly started in Colorado Springs instead of Mexico as we planned. Life wouldn’t be fun if unexpected things didn’t pop up. We took a slight detour on our way to the beach to spend time with family. Our detour was in the way of a road trip from San Diego to Colorado Springs with everything we own.
