About Corritta Lewis
The Digital Nomad Mom
I’m Corritta Lewis, and I am the voice behind It’s a Family Thing. I like to call myself a world citizen, but I am originally from Ohio.
My life is an adventure. I wear many hats. I am a mom, spouse, blogger, and digital nomad. Somehow I manage to do all of this while working full-time.
In a world where the term ‘nomad’ often means solo adventures, our family has broken the mold.
The last four years, I’ve had the privilege of traveling the world with my family and sharing experiences and much-needed tips to parents through my family travel blog.
As a mom that’s traveled to 25 countries (and flown on more than 300 flights) with a baby (that is now a preschooler), I’ve dealt with nearly everything imaginable that comes with traveling with a young kid in tow.
On this blog you will find practical advice, personal experiences, travel recommendation, and some fun travel stories (or mishaps).
Everything on my blog is based on experiences over the last four years. My blog offers authenticity and practical advice for parents traveling with little ones.
From the beaches of Brazil to the deserts of Dubai, we’ve immersed ourselves into diverse cultures, sampled delectable cuisines, and marveled at breathtaking landscapes.
Along with maintaining a full-time job, running our blog, and traveling, I’ve written for major publications such as Hilton, VRBO, and She Buys Travel.
Fun Facts about Corritta
- I’m afraid of heights (which doesn’t make sense considering I’ve jumped out of an airplane and fly twice a month)
- I marched in the Macy’s Day Parade in high school (it was so much fun)!!
