WHAT KIDS CAN LEARN FROM TRAVELING THE WORLD
I believe traveling has been invaluable for our toddler. For the last six months, he’s been attending preschool in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, and loves it.
He’s been potty training, speaking Spanish, and learning more about Mexican culture. His teachers love him, and we can tell he loves them.
Today is Mexican Independence Day, so he has the day off, but he came home with the Mexican flag yesterday singing Viva Mexico.
It was so cute, especially after spending the day at school learning about the famous Mexican artist Frida. Now he’s attached to the flag and put it in his travel tent to sleep with.

When our son was 6 months old, he used to crawl into his room to play by himself. By the time he was 9 months old, he’d go in the room and close his door to play.
